RRB Annual Calendar 2024 Released For ALP, Technician, JE and Other Posts

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the annual exam calendar for multiple posts. The annual calendar has been released for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP), Technicians, Non-Technical Popular Categories (for both graduate and undergraduate), Junior Engineers, Paramedical categories, Ministerial and Isolated categories among others posts. To check the notice, eligible candidates can visit the official website of the regional RRBs.

As per the official schedule, the ALP post-recruitment process will be held from January to March 2024, while for Technicians, it will be done from April to June. From July to September 2024, the recruitment process for RRB Non-Technical Popular Categories-Graduate (Level 4, 5 & 6), Non-Technical Popular Categories-Under Graduate (Level 2 & 3), Junior Engineers and Paramedical Categories will be held by the board. For the RRB Level 1 and Ministerial and Isolated categories, the recruitment drive will be held during the October-December, 2024 period.

RRB Exam Schedule:

January-March 2024: Assistant Loco Pilot

April-June 2024: Technicians

July-September 2024: Non Technical Popular Categories – Graduate (Level 4, 5 & 6), Non Technical Popular Categories – Under Graduate (Level 2 & 3), Junior Engineers, Paramedical Categories

October-December 2024: Level 1 Ministerial & Isolated Categories

The Railway Recruitment Board had last month started the registration process for the ALP post, and the last day to apply for the exam is February 19. As part of the recruitment drive, RRB aims to fill as many as 5,696 vacancies across the country. The ALP CBT examination is expected to be held between June and August later this year, while the second stage is tentatively scheduled for September 2024.

Meanwhile, the recruitment process for the RRB Technician will start soon for the around 9,000 posts. A notification in this regard will be published in the Employment News this month. The online registration process for the Technician posts is expected to begin in March and end by April 2024.
