Musheer Khan (Mumbai): The brother of Mumbai’s Sarfaraz Khan, the Mumbaikar has already made his start to his first-class career. A bowling all-rounder, the left-arm orthodox bowler is a solid option as a bowler with the ability to hold his own with the bat as well. Musheer also managed to score a valiant half-century against Bangladesh in a losing cause at the ACC U-19 Asia Cup as well.

Arshin Kulkarni (Maharashtra): The all-rounder is arguably one of the hottest young prospects out there. His ability to perform at the top with the bat and ball makes him arguably one of the best young talents on offer and the Indian side will be banking on his performances to help them progress in the tournament. His notable performances come for Maharashtra in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy where he travelled from Mohali to Indore after a match to help his side with a match-winning performance. He has also made his debut in the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy as well.

Adarsh Singh (Uttar Pradesh): The opening batter hails from Kanpur and his performances in the domestic circuit have warranted his selection for the squad. He is also among the players that are selected for the UPT20 League as well. He will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of Kuldeep Yadav to pave the way to the Indian senior side at some point in the future.

Aravelly Avanish (Telengana): The left-handed wicketkeeper-batter is known for his explosive batting ability which got him the bid from the CSK franchise in the recently concluded auctions. Coming from Hyderabad, the batter has built a reputation for his power-hitting abilities, especially in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy where managed to score 274 runs in 6 games with a strike-rate of 148.

Innesh Mahajan (Uttar Pradesh): Coming from the Wonders Cricket Club in Noida, the young batter has made a name for himself playing in the club circuit where he has been regular with the big runs for the side. He however finds himself in a difficult spot having not scored too many runs for the India U-19 squad.

Priyanshu Moliya (Gujarat): From Rajkot, the young batter has already made his first-class debut for Baroda and has been doing well in the format. With seven games under his belt, he has already scored 479 runs with two centuries and a fifty at an average of 47.9. He will be looking to replicate the same form in the U19 World Cup as well.

Rudra Patel (Gujarat): The batter has been making a reputation for himself with the big runs, especially with the double-century against Himachal Pradesh in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy, however, he has not been able to get too many chances for the India U19 squad as we are yet to see him get going with the bat in the International format.

Murugan Abhishek (Telengana): From the Iqbal Cricket Academy in Telengana, the left-arm off-spinner is also handy with the bat in the lower order as he will be aiming to make a statement in the tournament as well. Primarily used as a bowler, Murugan will be hoping to make the best use of conditions in South Africa to help his side out. He managed to be the top-scorer for India with 62 runs against Bangladesh in a losing cause in the ACC U-19 Asia Cup.

Dhanush Gowda (Karnataka): The Bengaluru boy has already made himself part of the Maharaja Trophy. He was also part of the India D side in the Challenger Trophy as well. Having only played just two matches, he will be looking to make the most of the opportunity he gets.

Raj Limbani (Gujarat): The young pacer has had a notable time in the Indian side where he managed to get seven wickets in the match against Nepal in the U19 Asia Cup. The pacer from Baroda finished with 10 wickets across three games which led to his selection for the World Cup squad.

Saumy Pandey (Madhya Pradesh): The vice-captain of the side, the left-arm off-spinner managed to make his way to the Indian side. He was also the skipper for the A side in the quadrangular series with India B, Bangladesh and England where he took 13 scalps. The deputy will look to make his name heard as the vice-captain will look to extend India’s record.

Aaradhya Shukla (Punjab): Following his notable performances for Punjab in the CK Nayudu Trophy taking 17 wickets in three games. India will be hoping that the pacer can bring in similar returns for the World Cup.

Naman Tiwari (Uttar Pradesh): The left-arm pacer who already has experience playing in South Africa will look to maintain his good form having taken 12 wickets in six games he has played for India so far. He also has had notable performances taking a fifer on his debut against Bangladesh in the tri-series as well.

Sachin Dhas (Maharashtra): The batter from Maharashtra’s most notable knock came against Pakistan where he managed to score an important fifty in the U19 Asia Cup helping the side reach 259. However, after this knock the batter has been unable to get a big score on the board which he will be looking to change in the World Cup.
