BHU Faculty Recruitment 2024: Registration Begins for 143 Teaching Posts at bhu.ac.in

The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) commenced the online application process for the recruitment of Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor posts. Through this recruitment drive, the university will fill a total of 143 teaching posts in the Institute of Medical Sciences (Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dental Sciences & College of Nursing). Candidates can apply for the Associate Professor and Assistant Professor posts by visiting the official website of BHU at bhu.ac.in. As per the recruitment notice, the deadline for submitting the application form is March 4.

Before submitting an online application, candidates should carefully read and follow the general instructions for candidates provided with the advertisement. “Candidates belonging to SC /ST / OBC/ EWS/ PwBDs should submit respective valid certificates for their categories as per proforma prescribed by the Govt. of India. Relaxation and concessions for them shall be granted in accordance with the reservation policy of the GoI/ MoE/ UGC and subsequent clarification/ directives issued from time to time to this effect,” read the official recruitment advertisement.

Candidates should keep in mind that separate application forms must be submitted if applying for multiple positions. Applicants must also fill out all mandatory information or the application will be considered incomplete and rejected.

BHU Faculty Recruitment 2024: Steps To Apply

Step 1: Go to the official website of BHU at bhu.ac.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, look for and click on the ‘recruitment’ tab.

Step 3: Then click on the ‘Teaching’ position/vacancies.

Step 4: As a new page opens, click on the link that reads – “Rolling Advt. No. 23/2023-2024 (Faculty of Medicine, Dental Sciences & College of Nursing, IMS)”.

Step 5: Fill out the application form as directed and pay the application fee.

Step 6: Upload all the essential documents.

Step 7: Cross-check the details and submit the form.

To avoid losing data, candidates should click on the “save” button after completing each tab. When each tab has been filled out and saved, the candidate can finally apply. Also, changes cannot be made after submitting the application form.

BHU Faculty Recruitment 2024: Application Fee

For the Unreserved (UR), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Other Backward Class (OBC) categories, the application fee is Rs 1000. However, the Schedule Caste (SC), Schedule Tribe (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) category, and Women & Transgender candidates are exempt from paying an application fee. The application fee is non-refundable.
