Punjab PSEB Releases Annual Exam 2024 Timetable For Classes 5, 8, 10, 12

The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has released the timetable for the annual board exams 2024 for classes 5, 8, 10, and 12. Students who will be appearing in exams can check the complete schedule on the official website at pseb.ac.in.

While the class 5 exam 2024 will be held on March 7, 11, 12, 13, and 14, the class 8th annual exams will be conducted on March 7, 11, 12, 15, 16, 18, 20, 21 and 27.  The Punjab board class 5 exams are held in the respective schools while the class 8 examinations are conducted at different exam centers set up by the PSEB. The duration of both exams is three hours for all subjects. Students are given extra 15 minutes to read the question paper.

The Punjab Board has also announced the PSEB class 10 and class 12 date sheet 2024 for annual exams. The class 10 board exams 2024 will be held from next month, February 13 and end on March 5. The class 12 exam will also begin on February 13 and continue till March 30. The exams are held in the morning shift from 10 am to 1:15 am. PSEB allows students with disabilities a scribe facility and an extra 20 minutes for the examination.

Step 4: Check the exam date, timing, and other important details mentioned on it.

Step 5: Save, download, and keep a printout for future use.

In the Punjab board exams 2023, the overall pass percentage of class 10 stood at 97.56 per cent. The pass percentage was a 0.38 per cent decrease from 2022, when the pass percentage was 97.94 per cent. Pathankot district emerged as the top-performing district with a pass percentage of 99.19 per cent while Barnala was the lowest with 95.96 per cent of students clearing the exams.

In the case of class 12 board exams 2023, a total of 92.27 per cent of students cleared the exams this year. While 98.30 per cent of commerce students cleared the exams, 90.62 per cent of humanities, 98.68 per cent of science students, and 84.66 per cent of vocational students passed. The pass percentage decreased by about 3 per cent as compared to 2022.
