Bigg Boss 17: Anurag Dobhal's Exit From The Show Stirs Controversy, Fans Call It 'Unfair'
Anurag Dobhal, alleges unfair treatment and manipulation by the show's makers, accusing them of destroying him mentally.

In a surprising mid-week eviction, popular content creator Anurag Dobhal, known as UK Rider 07, found himself ousted from the Bigg Boss 17. The decision came as a collective choice by the housemates, concluding what he described as a tumultuous journey. In an interview with a leading media outlet, Anurag shared his discontent with the show’s makers, shedding light on his unique perspective and the challenges he faced during his time in the house.

Expressing his relief at being understood by the audience, Anurag said, “I am happy that people understood my pattern. I had never watched Bigg Boss, so I was not sure what to do there. I was not trying to be pitch-perfect, I tried showing the real Anurag since it is a reality show. I went low when Salman sir said things about the ‘Bro Sena’, it was an emotional setback for me.”

The UK Rider 07 went on to recount a distressing revelation made by Bigg Boss, claiming that his family had refused to participate in the show. However, this information turned out to be incomplete and misleading, as it was later clarified that Anurag’s family had not been approached in the manner suggested.

Speaking about his on-show rival, Munawar Faruqui, Anurag Dobhal expressed his disapproval of Munawar’s ideologies and behaviors. “Munawar was my enemy from day one, I did not like his ideologies or what he had done before coming on the show. I know what kind of a man Munawar is. He is a ‘darinda’ who plays with emotions. First, he used Nazila, and then when Ayesha came, he forgot about Nazila. After Salman Sir’s feedback, his statement changed again,” he told Indian Express.

Anurag voiced his dissatisfaction with the overall theme of the season, asserting that it focused more on showcasing Instagram followers than genuine personalities. He criticised the lack of individual opinions among contestants, suggesting that everyone’s stance changed according to Salman Khan’s weekly feedback.

Claiming to be the first contestant in 17 seasons to stand against Bigg Boss and Salman Khan, Anurag alleged unfair treatment and a conspiracy to evict him. He highlighted the lack of opportunities given to him compared to other contestants and asserted that certain sections of his commentary were allegedly muted in the live feed. The YouTuber also expressed disappointment over not being able to fulfill his dream of seeing his mother on national television, attributing his eviction to the producers’ knowledge of this desire.

Anurag Dobhal’s controversial exit from Bigg Boss 17 has undoubtedly stirred the pot, bringing attention to the complexities and challenges faced by contestants in the high-stakes reality show.
