Hockey India review Committee on Saturday stated that they are not considering Van Ass as coach of national team anymore as he has not responded to them.

Legendary hockey Olympian Balbir Singh Sr is extremely disappointed in the manner Hockey India has handled the Paul Van Ass issue.

As part of its preparation for the 2016 Olympics, Hockey India (HI) will evaluate the performance of the national teams in the recently held Hockey World League (HWL) Semi-Finals in Antwerp.

Men's team coach Paul van Ass hasn't reported back for his job without intimation, and it is believed that it's because of an alleged spat with HI president Narinder Batra.

It is learnt that captain Muhammad Imran, who had earlier announced his decision to step down, may make some disclosures on returning home.

Van Ass officially joined his new job on Sunday but the Dutchman took charge of the team on Monday, supervising a two-hour long practice session.
