Teams of the disaster management department, NDRF and SDRF have been sent to vulnerable areas, Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee said, while urging those living in coastal areas to exercise caution over the next few days.

Partha Chatterjee said the institutions have also received the University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines in this regard and the issue came up in the meeting held during the day.
