Telugu film director Naresh Kuppili has reportedly raised objections to the title, stating that he is already working on a film with the same name. According to Telugu media reports, Naresh is opposing the release of Thalapathy Vijay’s film, and the situation might become challenging to resolve as Naresh has already started promoting his project.
It is mentioned in reports that Naresh had initiated promotional activities for his film, making it potentially difficult for the producers of Thalapathy Vijay’s film to find a quick solution. Similar issues were faced by Thalapathy Vijay’s previous blockbuster Leo, but those reports suggested that the matter was settled by compensating the person who filed the case.
Even before the official title release, Thalapathy Vijay’s film generated significant buzz under the working title Thalapathy 68, Directed by Venkat Prabhu, GOAT boasts an ensemble cast including Thalapathy Vijay, Prabhu Deva, Prashanth, Sneha, Meenakshi Choudhary, Laila, Mohan, Ajmal Ameer, Jayaram, Yogi Babu, Premgi Amaren, Vaibhav, and others. The film is produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh, and Kalpathi S Suresh under the banner of AGS Entertainment, with Yuvan Shankar Raja handling the music. Reports also suggest that Thalapathy Vijay will be playing dual roles in the movie, which is being filmed in various locations, including Chennai and Thailand.
