Indian weddings have become the canvas for everything imaginative and unconventional. The era of grooms making a grand entrance on bikes is a thing of the past; come electric scooters that recently stole the show at a Bengaluru wedding, causing a viral sensation. And it wasn’t just the groom who embraced this futuristic trend – even the Baraatis made a stylish arrival on Yulu bikes (electric scooters), leaving the internet in awe.

In a clip shared on Instagram by @traaexploreweddings, the groom, decked out in traditional attire, took the Yulu bike for a spin, surrounded by Baraatis on their electric bikes, creating a spectacle never witnessed before. They zipped through the streets, making a grand entrance for the wedding.

As the video gained momentum, reactions flooded in. While many Instagram users applauded the eco-friendly and unique concept, some were skeptical, citing concerns about traffic and disturbance. Others simply found it amusing and cracked jokes.

“And then they complain about traffic here,” exclaimed one user. Another quipped, “They are creating some extra traffic.” The third teased about Bengaluru’s notorious traffic, saying, “Bro will reach the mandap 6 hours late,” while the fourth humourously remarked, “The space for parking will be less.”

One comment appreciated the concept, noting, “Love this concept, no animals hurt,” highlighting how it avoids the use of Ghodis (horses) for the Baraat.

Meanwhile, in a previous incident, a video capturing a groom’s extraordinary entry at his wedding took the internet by storm. Originally shared on TikTok, the groom injected a dose of playfulness into the traditional custom by making a lively entrance on a toy horse. The scene unfolded in a joyous wedding procession, with the groom and attendees dancing and celebrating. Dressed in an off-white sherwani paired with a velvety red drape, the groom skillfully maneuvered the toy horse, creating a memorable moment.
