Following Yodha release, Sidharth Malhotra decided to surprise the viewers who flocked to theatres to watch the film in its first weekend.

Sidharth Malhotra is gradually making his reputation as a nuanced action hero in Bollywood and his latest film Yodha aims to prove his mantle. The actor went all out to promote this highly anticipated film, which also stars Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna. The team launched the trailer on board a flight from Mumbai to Ahmedabad. After the release of the film, the actor decided to surprise the viewers who flocked to theatres to catch the movie over the weekend. Videos of Sidharth inside cinema halls interacting with the cine-goers have gone viral on social media.

One of the videos that surfaced on social media shows Sidharth Malhotra standing in the middle of the crowd, who are cheering for him. The post credit scene plays in the background on the big screen. The actor also poses for selfies with many of his fans. He could be seen wearing a casual T-shirt with a front open jacket. Fans also praised the actor in the comments section of the paparazzi post. One of them stated, “Our yodha deserves all love and appreciation.”

On the day of the release, one of Sidharth Malhotra’s fan sites on X released a video of the actor entering a packed cinema hall and surprising everyone. The audience screamed and cheered as the actor addressed the supporters.

Prior to the release of the film, Sidharth Malhotra was spotted at many promotional events. But amid the busy schedules, he made sure to interact with his fans and share a few memorable moments with them. The actor was photographed at Mumbai’s airport when he met the young child and offered him a special gift.

As soon as Sidharth stepped out of the airport, fans gathered to catch a sight of their favourite star. At the same time, a child ran up to him and asked for a picture. Sidharth agreed and then turned to his team and presented the kid with a copy of the Yodha comic book. Dharma Productions, in association with Pratilipi Comics, had introduced the adventure thriller comic book ‘Adventures of Yodha: The Case of the Missing Ship’. The comic book was written by Akash Pathak and illustrated by Ayantika Roy.

Yodha has been directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, and revolves around a high-stakes hijack situation. The film was released in theatres on March 15. Sidharth Malhotra was last seen in the web series Indian Police Force.
