The 47th Annual General Meeting of the members of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) will be held on August 29 at 2 pm, the company said in a statement on exchanges.
The oil-to-telecom conglomerate’s AGM will be televised live through videoconferencing as well as through other audio-visual means, adhering to guidelines set by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and the Securities and Exchange Board of India.
Announcing this, RIL in a market filing said, “The Forty-seventh Annual General Meeting (Post-lPO) (“AGM”) of the members of the Company wilI be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. (IST) through Video Conferencing (“VC”) / Other Audio Visual Means (“OAVM”), in accordance with the applicable circulars issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and the Securities and Exchange Board of India,” said Reliance.
The company said that the dividend, “if declared at the AGM”, will be paid within a week from the conclusion of the AGM. RIL has fixed August 19, Monday as the record date for determining the eligibility of investors for receiving dividend for financial year 2023-24 subject to the declaration of the dividend.
Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries, will address the shareholders during the AGM.
Last year’s AGM was held on August 28, just a week after the listing of Jio Financial Services on India’s stock exchanges.
