Following this, he delivered another big performance as he picked up the wickets of Rajat Patidar, Cameron Green and Glenn Maxwell to turn the tides once again in his side’s favour and make it consecutive wins for LSG.

Amir is currently with the Pakistan team after withdrawing his retirement in preparation for the upcoming T20 World Cup in June 2024. Along with him, the all-rounder, Imad Wasim has also made a u-turn in his retirement as the squad is currently in Kabul undergoing a training camp.

The left-handed quick bowler has amassed a wealth of experience having played in franchise leagues across the globe and his familiarity with the West Indies conditions will serve the side in good stead as he finished third in the wicket-taking charts in the Caribbean Premier League 2023.

Both Mayank and Amir during his younger days were lethal forces with the ball as they displayed fine accuracy mixed with deadly pace which was a nightmare for batters to deal with.

The 21-year-old from Delhi will be expected to deliver once again as LSG take on the Gujarat Titans in their second home game of the season where they will look to make it three wins in a row.
