Hardik Pandya endured a major setback during last year’s ODI World Cup after suffering an ankle injury. Months after the tournament, it was revealed that Hardik would be leaving the Gujarat Titans to play for Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2024 season. But Mumbai Indians did not have an impressive campaign in the latest edition of the IPL.

All eyes were on Hardik Pandya as he looked to redeem himself at the T20 World Cup 2024 hosted by the USA and the West Indies. Hardik scored 144 runs at an average of 48 and a strike rate of 151.6.

He was impressive with the ball, scalping 11 wickets at an economy of 7.65. It includes a three-wicket haul against South Africa in the final match. Hardik’s role was a major contributing factor in India winning their second-ever T20 World Cup crown in history.
