Team India has reached Kanpur for the second Test against Bangladesh. After dominating the opening Test, the hosts will now aim to continue the momentum in the next game and wrap up the home series on a triumphant note. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) recently posted a video, featuring glimpses of the journey from Chennai to Kanpur. Every member of the home unit was captured in a relaxed mood while boarding the team bus from the hotel. The newly appointed bowling coach, Morne Morkel, and the other support staff were also part of the travelling group.

The next frame cuts to the airport lounge where players like Axar Patel, Akash Deep, Mohammed Siraj, Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin can be seen engaging in some funny conversations. Sarfaraz Khan was spotted sarcastically cheering his teammate Yashasvi Jaiswal.

Inside the flight, Ashwin was busy on his phone when Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah started pulling his leg. After touching down in Kanpur, the Indian players reached the team hotel. Fans gathered by the road to have a look at their favourite cricketers. The post shared by BCCI read, “A journey full of smiles from Chennai to Kanpur.”

The video has attracted reactions from fans, who extended their heartfelt wish to Team India for the upcoming Bangladesh Test. One of them wrote, “All the best for Kanpur match, guys.”

A fan was left disheartened, having not found Rohit Sharma in the video. “A video without Rohit is a waste,” commented the person.

This person felt that the second Test between India and Bangladesh will be as “exciting” as the previous match.

“A happy team is a winning team,” observed another social media user.

Ashwin was the star of the first Test. He scored a brilliant century in the first innings at Chepuak after the Indian top order faced a collapse. Ashwin was equally impressive with the ball. The Indian spin magician registered a six-wicket haul, helping India win the match by a resounding margin of 280 runs. The second Test is scheduled to start from September 27.
