India batting superstar Virat Kohli has reportedly been spotted in London where he will be spending some quality time with his wife and kids. As per reports, the 35-year-old left on a chartered flight at 3:15 AM IST.

A couple of pictures have been doing the rounds on social media purportedly showing Kohli at London airport with the former India captain also posing for a selfie with a fan.

Kohli has now won all three ICC white-ball competitions as a player that include 2011 ODI World Cup, 2013 Champions Trophy and 2024 T20 World Cup. He twice came close to winning the World Test Championship, once as a captain (2021) and then as a player (2023) but India finished runners-up both the times.

The Indian team returned from Barbados on July 4 after being stuck in Barbados for nearly three days due to Hurricane Beryl. They met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his official residence before flying to Mumbai for an open bus victory parade.

The day ended with the team being felicitated by the BCCI at the Wankhede Stadium where they were also handed over a cash prize of Rs 125 crore.

Speaking at the occasion, Kohli recalled how he felt after winning the world cup in 2011 when he was quite young.

“Back when we won the World Cup in 2011 there were a lot of tears and I couldn’t understand, I was young and we had won the world cup. But, now, being a senior player, with Rohit (Sharma) beside, after playing for so long, it is special,” Kohli said.

Kohli said he’s never seen Rohit getting emotinal on the field.

“We have been playing together for 15 years and this is the first time I’ve seen Rohit show so much emotion on the field. When I was walking up the steps, I was crying, he was crying and we hugged. That is a special moment,” he said.
