The family were out there happy after discovering that their child had scored the highest marks in the district. Apart from Ayush’s parents, the villagers also felt proud of the achievement. They congratulated Ayush with flower garlands and sweets. Ayush has topped Gaya district by scoring 477 marks out of 500. His father, Nagendra Kumar, works as a labourer and his mother, Anupama Devi, is a housewife. Ayush gives credit for his success to his parents, maternal uncle and school teachers. The mother also took a loan for a good education for her son and later repaid it with their hard-earned income.

Mother Anupama Devi said that she is very proud of her son. Ayush’s father said that he fulfilled his son’s wishes to ensure he could study with complete concentration. “Whatever is possible from our side, as far as he studies, we will work hard for him and earn money, so that the son can move ahead.” said father Nagendra Kumar while talking to Local18.
