The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has rescheduled the subject knowledge and screening test dates for the Haryana Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) exam. Candidates can view the updated timetable by visiting the official website, hpsc.gov.in. The recruitment campaign aims to fill 3,069 PGT positions across a range of courses.
According to the latest timetable, the examination for the positions of Ayurvedic Medical Officer, English, Hindi and Economics Post Graduate Teachers at the Health & Ayush Department, Haryana, has been rescheduled for November 3. The dates of the remaining exams are still the same. Candidates can download their admission cards for the HPSC PGT exam by October 28.
HPSC PGT Exam 2024: Steps To Download Revised Timetable
Step 1: Visit hpsc.gov.in, the HPSC’s official website.
Step 2: Navigate to and click on the alerts tab from the homepage.
Step 3: Search for the “HPSC PGT 2024 Rescheduled Timetable” link.
Step 4: A new window will open with the updated schedule on it.
Step 5: Get the updated schedule by downloading it.
Step 6: For future use, save a printout of the same.
HPSC PGT Exam 2024: How To Download Admit Card?
Once released, candidates will be able to download their admit card by following these steps:
Step 1: Go to hpsc.gov.in, the official website.
Step 2: Navigate to the ‘Important Links’ tab on the homepage.
Step 3:Select the link for the PGT topic knowledge test admission card.
Step 4: Register by entering the required information and get the admissions card.
Step 5: Take a printout for your records.
HPSC PGT Exam Pattern 2024
The screening examination will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions and last for two hours in total. This is a qualifying examination. Its purpose is to narrow down candidates for a subsequent round that would test them on subjective knowledge. To qualify candidates must at least score 25 per cent marks. Next, the subjective test for 150 marks will last for 3 hours. The weightage of this exam is 87.5 per cent of total marks. These rounds will be followed by an interview.
