IGNOU Launches 4 MBA Courses, Check Complete List

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has launched 11 new courses, including four MBA programmes across various schools in various fields. Ram Reddy Memorial Lecture.

— MBA in Agribusiness Management

— MBA in Healthcare and Hospital Management

— IGNOU’s New Certificate, Diploma, and Post-Graduation Programmes in IGNOU

— PG Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology

— PG Diploma in Disaster Risk Reduction and Management

— Certificate Programme in Early Childhood Special Education Enabling Inclusion Visual Impairment

— Certificate Programme in Early Childhood Special Education Enabling Inclusion Hearing Impairment

— Certificate Programme in Early Childhood Special Education Enabling Inclusion Intellectual Disability

— MA in Geeta Studies

— MSc in Home Science – Community Development and Extension Management

A few days ago, the institute rolled out the notification about MBAs in healthcare and hospital management. The course is for students who have completed their graduation with at least 50 per cent marks. However, the eligibility is 45 per cent in the case of candidates belonging to reserved categories, as per the rules of the Government of India.

Similarly, the institute has also started the admissions process for MBA Construction Management. This two-year degree is offered by the School of Engineering and Technology, IGNOU, and will be available only in English. Those applying for the course will be required to make a fee payment of Rs 15,500 for each semester, except in semester 3, where candidates will have to pay Rs 17,500 because it has eight credit projects. The new MA programme in Geeta Studies delves into the profound spiritual teachings and philosophy of the Bhagavad Gita.

Those applying for IGNOU’s MBA programmes must have a minimum of 50 per cent marks on their graduation. Moreover, there will be a 5 per cent relaxation for candidates falling under the reserved categories as per government regulations. The course spans from a minimum of 2 years to a maximum of 4 years.

Students can enroll in up to seven courses per semester, allowing them to complete the required 28 courses over four semesters which is two years to earn the MBA degree.

Meanwhile, the IGNOU launched a Master’s course in the study of the holy book, Bhagavad Gita. The course will commence in the session of 2024-2025, as per the official notification.
