The Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP) will announce the SSC or class 10th results 2024 today, April 22 at 11 am. Students, who took the exams, can check their AP SSC results on the official website results.bse.ap.gov.in by entering their roll number for login. The exams were conducted from March 18 to March 30. A total of 6 lakh students appeared for the Andhra Pradesh Board 10th Exam 2024.

AP SSC Result 2024: Passing Marks

Students need to attain a minimum of 35 per cent marks, corresponding to a D2 grade, in each subject. Students must clear both the practical and theory exams independently. BSEAP has outlined the passing criteria for both theory and practical exams. Students who achieve the minimum required marks will advance to the next grade.

In papers with a maximum of 80 marks, students must score a minimum of 28 marks. Similarly, for papers with a maximum of 70 marks, the minimum required score is 25, and for those with 50 marks, it is 18. In practical exams, students must secure at least 7 marks to pass.

In theory, subjects such as Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and English have a maximum of 80 marks, with minimum passing marks set at 28. For other regional and foreign languages, students should secure at least 25 marks.

In practical exams, subjects like Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and English have a maximum of 20 marks, with a minimum passing threshold of 7 marks. Similarly, for other regional and foreign languages, the maximum marks are set at 30, while the minimum marks required to pass are 10.

Furthermore, students will receive grades ranging from A to E based on the GPA system. Those who obtain 75 per cent and above marks will be awarded a distinction grade. Students scoring between 60 per cent to 74 per cent will receive a first division, while those securing marks between 45 per cent to 59 per cent will pass with a second division.
