The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced online applications for teacher recruitment, with a staggering 46,000 vacancies available in Bihar. The positions include headmasters and head teachers, with 6,061 headmasters set to be appointed in secondary and higher secondary schools. In Telangana, there are over 11,000 openings for secondary teachers, language scholars, and school assistants in local schools. Recruitment for these posts is being facilitated by the District Selection Committee, with applications accepted until April 2. Among the vacancies, 4,957 teachers and 796 special teachers will be hired at the primary level, while 220 special teachers will be appointed at the upper primary level. Online examinations will be conducted across 11 cities and candidates between 18 and 46 years of age are eligible to apply. The application fee for these positions is Rs 1,000.

Meanwhile, the Odisha Public Service Commission has announced recruitment for postgraduate teachers, aiming to fill 1,375 vacancies. The application deadline is March 18 and interested candidates can apply via the official Odisha Public Service Commission website, www.opsc.gov.in.

Additionally, Chandigarh and Punjab are also conducting teacher recruitment drives, with 303 vacancies available for Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) in the Education Department. The application window closes on March 18 and candidates can apply through the official website, www.chdeducation.gov.in.
