Telangana State Board Extends 1st-Year Intermediate Admission Deadline to September 7
This extension gives students extra time to submit their admissions applications, especially those who have not enrolled yet. Earlier, the deadline was August 31

The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has extended the deadline for admission to the first-year Intermediate course to September 7 for the academic year 2024-25. All interested candidates can apply for admission to affiliated colleges through the official websites, acadtgbie.cgg.gov.in or tgbie.cgg.gov.in.

As per the official notification, “All the Principals of the Government/Private Aided/Private Un-Aided/Co-Operative/TG Residential/TG Social Welfare Residential/TG Tribal Welfare Residential/TG Model School / KGBV/ BC Welfare /Incentive Junior Colleges and Composite Degree Colleges offering two-year Intermediate course are notified that the last date for admissions into 1st-year Intermediate for the academic year 2024-25 is extended up to September 7 in the interest of students; and as a final opportunity.”

Earlier, the TSBIE Inter first-year admission deadline was today, August 31. This extension gives students extra time to submit their admissions applications, especially those who have not yet enrolled.

TSBIE 1st-Year Intermediate Admission 2024-25: How to Apply

Step 1: Navigate to the official website, acadtgbie.cgg.gov.in or tgbie.cgg.gov.in.

Step 2: Upon reaching the homepage, look for the TS Intermediate First Year Admission Link and click on it.

Step 3: You will be redirected to a new page, asking to select a District where the candidate wants to take admission.

Step 4: A list of colleges will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Select the college as per your preference from the list.

Step 6: Complete the admission form and attach any required document.

Step 7: Save the confirmation page for future reference.

Earlier this year, the board conducted the TS Inter 1st year exams from February 28 to March 18. The examinations for the 2nd year students began on February 29 and concluded on March 19. The results for the same were declared on April 24.

This year, as many as 5.02 lakh students appeared for the TS Inter 2nd year exam, with approx. 3.22 lakh students passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 64.19 per cent. In the TS Inter 1st year exams 2024, around 4.78 lakh students appeared, out of which 2.87 lakh students were declared to pass, bringing the overall pass percentage to 60.01 per cent.
