The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling schedule 2024 has been released by the Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai. The schedule is available to candidates at tneaonline.org, the official website. The registration process for the TNEA counselling session has begun from May 6 and will be available till June 6. The last date to upload the necessary document is June 12.
TNEA Counselling 2024: Steps to apply
Step 1: Go to the official website tneaonline.org.
Step 2: On the main page, select the BE/BTech/BArch registration link for TNEA Counselling 2024.
Step 3: Click “Submit” after entering your registration information.
Step 4: After that, complete the application and make the required payment.
Step 5: Press the “Submit” button.
Step 6: Save and download the application for later use.
After the registration process and document submission the certificate verification will take place between June 13 and June 30. On July 10, the ranking list will be made public. Any kind of grievance redressal will be done between July 11to July 20. Through the TNEA web portal, a rank list of all qualified applications will be made available. Redress for grievances in the rank list will be allowed for one week. Applicants may file a grievance in person with the Office of Secretary, TNEA, Directorate of Technical Education, or any nearby TFCs.
Candidates from Tamil Nadu who have completed grades VIII, IX, X, XI, and XII in accredited schools are eligible to apply. Native students from schools outside of Tamil Nadu who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI, and XII grades or their equivalent examinations are also eligible to apply but they need to submit their original birth certificate online.
