The Class 12th or Uccha Madhyamik results 2024 of the West Bengal Board will be announced soon. It will be out today, May 8 at 1 pm. Students will be able to access their scorecards from 3 pm onwards. All the candidates who appeared for the exams this year can check their results on the board’s official website at wbresults.nic.in once they are out. This year, the West Bengal Board Class 12th examination was held from February 16 to February 19, and approximately 7.8 lakh students appeared for the exam.

West Bengal 12th Result 2024: What are the passing marks?
In order to pass the final exams, all the students need to achieve at least 30 per cent marks in the written exam and the practical individually. Which translates into 30 marks out of 100 marks per subject.
Depending on the marks obtained, students will be given grades as per their performances in each subject. Candidates achieving 80-100 marks will be given grade A+. Similarly, those who score between 60-79 will be given Grade A, from 40-59 will be given Grade B, from 30-44 will be given grade C, from and 30 or less than that will be given the grade D.
West Bengal 12th Result 2024: Steps to Check
Step 1: Visit the official website of the West Bengal Council of Highest Secondary Education at wbresults.nic.in.
Step 2: Get on the homepage and look out for the tab ‘ Class 12 (Uccha Madhyamik) results 2024’ or something similar and click on it.
Step 3: A new page will be open in front of you asking for the login credentials. Fill up the required information carefully and click on submit.
Step 4: Your Class 12 result will appear on screen. Check all the information carefully.
Step 5: Download it and take a print out on an A4 Size sheet paper for future reference.
Last year, the West Bengal HS Class 12 results were announced on May 24 for all Science, Commerce and Arts stream. A total of 8.24 lakh students appeared for the exam and approx. 7.37 lakh cleared it with the overall passing percentage of 89.25 per cent.
