Southampton: Premier League leaders Chelsea were held to a 1-1 draw by Southampton in the Premier League on Saturday after failing to take advantage of a one-man advantage in the closing minutes.
Sadio Mane put Southampton ahead in the 17th minute with his second goal in as many games, racing onto a pass from Dusan Tadic and lifting the ball over Thibaut Courtois.
Southampton produced an assured first-half display, but switched off defensively moments before half-time and was punished by Chelsea.
Eden Hazard collected a pass from Cesc Fabregas and shot across goal and into the far corner, beyond outstretched goalkeeper Fraser Forster.
Chelsea took control in the second half but could not break Southampton down, despite midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin being sent off in the 89th for a second booking.
In another match, bottom club Leicester earned their first Premier League win since September by beating Hull 1-0 on Sunday thanks to a first-half goal from Riyad Mahrez.
Mahrez struck in the 32nd minute with a low shot from the outside of the penalty area to give Nigel Pearson's side its first victory since stunning Manchester United 5-3, before both clubs had players sent off in the final minutes of the game.
Leicester defender Paul Konchesky was sent off in the 88th when he was booked for the second time for a clash with Hull midfielder Ahmed Elmohamady.
Stephen Quinn of Hull was then red carded by referee Phil Dowd in added time for a deliberate handball that prevented a Leicester break.
