Barcelona: Football star Lionel Messi returned to Barcelona's group training along with his teammates in preparation for Wednesday's clash against Real Betis in La Liga.
Messi took Sunday off to visit Dubai where he received the Best Player of the Year award at the Globe Soccer event, reports Efe.
Barcelona's game against Betis will mark Messi's 500th game with the 'Blaugrana'.
Next Wednesday, Barcelona will showcase the five titles won by the club in 2015 (Copa del Rey, La Liga, Champions League, Club World Cup and Super Cup).
Barcelona currently hold top position in La Liga with 35 points ahead of Atletico Madrid with goal difference and Real Madrid with a two-point gap.
Barcelona are one game short of their rivals so will be looking forward to stretching the points' gap as well as securing the lead.
