This wikiHow teaches you how to give your Telegram group extra features, including the ability to support up to 20,000 members, by converting it to a Supergroup.
Open Telegram on your Mac or PC. If you’re using Windows, it’s in the Windows menu. If you have macOS, you’ll find it in the Applications folder. Supergroups allow you to assign admins with special permissions to run the group.
Select the group you want to convert. Clicking the group once opens it in the main panel.
Click the group’s name in the title bar. It’s just above the main panel.
Scroll down and click Upgrade to Supergroup. It’s beneath the “Actions” header. A confirmation message will appear, reminding you that you cannot undo this change.
Click CONVERT. Your Telegram group is now a Supergroup.
