This wikiHow teaches you how to disable JavaScript in Google Chrome for Windows and macOS.

Open Chrome. It's in the Windows menu on a PC, or the Applications folder on a Mac.

Click ⁝. It's at the top-right corner of Chrome.

Click Settings.

Scroll down and click Advanced. It's the link at the bottom-center part of the screen.

Scroll down and click Content Settings. It's near the bottom of the “Privacy and Security” section.

Click JavaScript. You should now see a blue switch Android 7 Switch On under “JavaScript,” and the word “Allowed.”

Slide the switch to the Android 7 Switch Off position. “Allowed” will changed to “Blocked.” This means JavaScript is now disabled.
