On iPhone
Open your iPhone's Settings iPhone Settings App Icon. This grey app with gears on it is most likely on the Home Screen.
Scroll down and tap Facebook. It will be in a group of other social media apps about halfway down the Settings page.
Tap Settings. It's below the Facebook logo at the top of the screen.
Tap Location. You'll see this option near the top of the screen. If you don't see this option, location isn't enabled for Facebook.
Tap Never. A blue checkmark will appear to the left of Never, signifying that Facebook will no longer have access to your location.
On Android
Open your Android's Settings Android 7 Settings App. This gear-shaped app is in the App Drawer.
Scroll down and tap Apps. It's about halfway down the Settings page. On some Android devices, you must first tap Device manager to access the Apps option.
Tap App settings. This option may also be entitled App configurations.
Tap App permissions. It should be near the top of the page.
Tap Your location. You may have to scroll down first to find this option.
Scroll to Facebook and slide Android 7 System Switch On left. This switch is to the right of Facebook; sliding it left will cause it to turn white Android 7 Switch Off. Location services should now be disabled for Facebook on your Android. If you don't see this option, location isn't enabled for Facebook.
