Nandamuri Balakrishna is currently basking in the success of Bhagavanth Kesari, directed by Anil Ravipudi. The film, which was released on October 19, has been a massive hit, raking in a whopping Rs 75 crore at the box office, and it continues to perform well in the weeks following its release. Balakrishna’s commanding presence, coupled with positive word-of-mouth, has made Bhagavanth Kesari a superhit among the masses.
Despite all the success, fame, wealth, and loving family by his side, it’s been reported that Balakrishna has one cherished wish yet to be fulfilled. The legendary actor yearns to play with his granddaughters. Both of his married daughters have given birth to sons, and while he shares heartwarming pictures with his grandsons, he eagerly anticipates having a granddaughter to share joyful moments. Balakrishna’s elder daughter, Brahmani, is the mother of six-year-old Devansh, while his younger daughter Tejaswini welcomed a baby boy named Aryaveer in 2018.
Balakrishna is reportedly all set to fulfil three of his long-cherished wishes in the coming year. One of these wishes is to create a sequel to Aditya 369, a project he has been contemplating for years. He has now taken it upon himself to bring this sequel to life, with plans for production commencing next year.
Additionally, the versatile actor is gearing up for his directorial debut, another long-standing aspiration, also scheduled for the coming year. In a recent media interaction, Balakrishna disclosed that his son, Mokshagna, is set to make his film debut in 2024, marking another exciting development in the family.
In Bhagavanth Kesari, Balakrishna portrays a character that aligns with his actual age, a notable departure from other actors of his generation, such as Nagarjuna and Chiranjeevi, who often take on roles much younger than their age. In the film, he plays the role of Srileela’s father, showcasing his versatility and commitment to his craft. Notably, it has been reported that he was handsomely compensated for his role in Bhagavanth Kesari, earning a staggering Rs 18 crores for his contribution.
