Telugu star Prabhas has been long rumoured to be dating his Baahubali co-star Anushka Shetty. However, the duo has maintained that they are just good friends and nothing more. With Prabhas turning 43 recently, a new report has claimed that his family is allegedly urging him to settle down. They are allegedly nudging Prabhas to explore taking his friendship with Anushka to the next level. It has also been reported that Prabhas is ready to settle down but has not met anyone he wants to marry. It is said that his anti-social nature is acting as a big hurdle.
“He is single at the moment, and he is not dating Anushka. They are very close friends, and their family members want it to develop into something more. But they are not ready at the moment for that. They are close friends at the moment, and we are not sure if it develops into love later, but they are not looking at it at the moment,” an insider told Hindustan Times.
“The actor just turned 43, and his family wants him to settle down. And he is not averse to the idea. But the biggest issue that they are facing is that he is not very social, and mostly steps out for work and spends his time working on set,” the source added.
Prabhas is currently focused on his work life. The actor has not had a big hit in a while. This year, he was seen in Adipurush, which failed at the box office and was surrounded by controversies. He will now be seen in Salaar. Directed by Prashant Neel of KGF, the film is set to release in December and will clash with Dunki.
Speaking about the film, a source said, “Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire is his biggest action film to date. Prashanth Neel always wanted to make an action spectacle which has never been seen in the Indian film industry and he feels that this is the best of his work in this domain. It is Prashanth Neel’s most ambitious action spectacle.”
