These Telugu Stars’ Successful Comebacks Had One Common Factor -- Shruti Haasan
Shruti was a part of career blockbusters of senior heroes like Chiranjeevi and Nandamuri Balakrishna.

Actress Shruti Haasan entered the film industry with the Telugu movie Anaganaga O Dheerudu, which unfortunately didn’t perform well at the box office. Despite facing setbacks in a few Telugu and Tamil films, her luck turned around with the success of Gabbar Singh. Initially, the team was hesitant to cast her, but Pawan Kalyan insisted. Since then, her fortune has changed. Following Gabbar Singh, she transformed from being considered an ‘iron leg’ to becoming a fortunate charm or ‘golden leg’ for Telugu heroes experiencing failures.

Prior to the success of Gabbar Singh, Pawan Kalyan faced three consecutive failures. Shruti Haasan collaborated with Ravi Teja in Balupu and the recent film Krack. Ravi Teja had endured five flops before Balupu and four before Krack. Shruti Haasan also paired with Mahesh Babu in Srimanthudu, where Mahesh had encountered two flops before the movie. She also gave career blockbusters to senior heroes like Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna with Waltair Veerayya and Veerasimha Reddy respectively. In these success stories, Shruti Haasan emerges as a common factor, and is thus being considered a lucky charm for these Telugu heroes to break free from their string of failures.

Social media meme-makers are echoing the sentiment that Shruti Haasan is credited for bringing about successful comebacks for Telugu heroes.

Shruti Haasan, who portrayed Aadya in the highly successful Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire, has commended her co-star Prabhas as the movie continues to dominate the box office. Speaking to Hindustan Times, she revealed her attraction to Salaar partly because of Prabhas, describing him as laid-back and amiable off-screen. Yet, she noted the transformation when director Prashanth called for action, bringing forth a different and intense side of Prabhas.

Adding to her praises for Prabhas, Shruti Haasan highlighted his powerful and magnetic presence, emphasising his mesmerising transformation to the character Deva in the film. She delved into her role as Aadya, describing the character as a misfit in the violent world depicted in the movie. Expressing intrigue, she shared that witnessing the unfolding events through Aadya’s perspective added an interesting layer to her experience in Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire.
