New Delhi: With Bollywood’s much-awaited wedding just around the corner, the glitz and glamour quotient seems to be on a high. While Saif and Kareena have remained silent on their wedding preparations all this while, the nation seems to be gripped by their wedding fever. And, with Saif and Kareena tying the knot today, we bring to you some of the unknown facts about the highly publicized marriage.
1. Unlike the big fat Indian weddings, Saif-Kareena will exchange vows in a registered marriage that will be culminated at Saif’s house in Mumbai today.
2. The wedding will be attended by only family members and close friends of the couple.
3. The registered marriage will be followed by a ‘nikaah’ on October 17 at Pataudi Palace and later a grand reception will be held on October 18 in Delhi.
4. Saif will go traditional for his wedding as he will be seen wearing Raghavendra Rathore’s creation. The actor has apparently opted for a ‘shervani’ for his big day.
5. However, the debate over Kareena’s wedding trousseau is still continued. Apparently, Ritu Kumar has restored mother-in-law Sharmila’s wedding gharara for the nikaah. 6. Sharmila Tagore has invited President Pranab Mukherjee for Saif-Kareena’s wedding.
