3 Maoist sympathisers arrested from Phulbani

PHULBANI: Three Maoist sympathisers  were arrested from Rasakua Gaon and Nuasahi villages under Daringbadi police limits onTuesday. They have been identified as Janatarna Pradhan of Nuasahi village and Mahipati Pradhan and Salman Pradhan of Rasakua Gaon village.  Police said these persons were appointed as village heads in their villages by the Maoists and they were instrumental in organising meetings in different areas on behalf of the rebels. They were also supplying ration and food to the Maoists. “Planting of container bombs in Manipur square was their handiwork,” said SDPO Satyajit Naik. They were forwarded to court.
