Final arguments in Aarushi-Hemraj murder case are set to begin on Thursday. The arguments were to begin on Tuesday but CBI court hearing the case had later fixed October 10 for start of the final arguments as condolence was announced after the death of a lawyer.
"Lawyers' union announced a one-day condolence following an advocate's death, due to which the procedure of final arguments in Aarushi-Hemraj murder case could not begin. " said Manoj Sisodia, counsel of dentist couple Rajesh and Nupur Talwar.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Supreme Court rejected the plea of Talwar couple seeking the reports of polygraph, narco-analysis and brain-mapping test conducted on their three helpers, who were the initial accused in the murder of their teenage daughter.
Aarushi was found dead with her throat slit in her bedroom on May 16, 2008. The initial suspicion was on Hemraj whose body was later found on the terrace at their residence in Jalvayu Vihar in Noida on the outskirts of Delhi.
