Abhaya case: Chargesheet against 2 accused

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Thiruvananthapuram Chief Judicial Magistrate on Thursday framed the chargesheet against former chief chemical examiner R Geetha and chemical analyst M Chithra, who are accused of tampering with the results of chemical analysis test conducted on the internal organs of Sister Abhaya’s body.CJM Kemal Pasha read out the chargesheet to both the accused, who were present before the court.The accused have been charged with forgery and criminal conspiracy under IPC Sections 465, 466, 471 and 120 (B). If the charges are proved, the accused may get a sentence of imprisonment of upto 18 years.
