Accused in murder case denied bail

KOCHI: The Kerala High Court has dismissed the bail application filed by the two accused in the murder of Jabbar, a Youth Congress activist in Kasargode. Justice K T Sankaran dismissed the applications filed by the seventh accused Umar Farooque of Mangalpadi and the fourteenth accused P Shadeer of Perla.The court rejected the argument that bail could be granted as the chargesheet had already been filed.
