MYSORE: Stating that the Home Department has plans to open 16 new police stations in next year, Home and Transport Minister R Ashok said that the appointment of 4,012 police constables will begin soon.He was speaking at the passing out parade of the 35th batch of probationary PSIs of Karnataka held at the Karnataka Police Academy here on Friday.He said that the state government will open eight police training schools in the next four years to provide training for constables and set up Karnataka Industrial Security Force on the lines of CISF to cut down the expenses to be paid for CISF to give security to dams and ITBT establishments.This will help the state develop its own security force to mitigate crisis and be less dependent on the Centre to get CISF assistance in a crisis situation, he said.He appealed the Naxals to use the package announced by the state to bring them into the mainstream.Speaking IGP and director of KPA Amarkumar Pandey said the trainees were trained indoors and outdoors.
