Bengaluru: Bengaluru residents are experiencing a pleasant shock and surprise all over the city these days. One fine morning they see an anaconda with a half eaten human hand, next day they see a crocodile on roadside. Fortunately they are not for real.

These are artworks done by some artists to draw the attention of city municipal corporation or BBMP towards the pathetic condition of roads and footpaths across the city.

It started with a crocodile art work by artist Baadal Nanjundaswamy, who forced the authorities to wake up and repair potholes. Taking a cue from him, a few others have also stepped in.

The impact of such artworks is high and quick. The BBMP is repairing these roads almost overnight.

The citizens hope that the the government will not ignore these protests in the form of art works once the BBMP election is over.

What's your reaction?
