The actors from foreign countries are new to Kannada cinema. Initially, Paula Lindse appeared in 'Bili Hendthi' of Kannada cinema. Deepali, who born in India and then went to USA and still living there appered in 'Nanna Preethiya Hudugi' in 2000. Actors like Felicity acted in 'Hollywood' of Kannada cinema, recently Natalia Kaur appeared in 'Dev Son of Muddhe Gowda'. There are a few more examples of foreign actors acting in Kannada cinema.
For Kannada film 'Badshah', Samira Mohamed Ali who is a international super model, who acted in two films, a writer, and a television program anchor residing at United Kingdom arrives in Kannada for an important role in 'Badshah' film which is slated to begin in October.
"I play the role that is appealing universally, I was told two scenes in the film and that was enough for me to accept the film stated," Samira said. "Samira appears in the second half of the film and such international reputation was in need of my film," director Vijay said.
Debut director Vijay looked very confident on the script who has worked in few films as assistant. A popular actor will be confirming his dates soon.
Producers Srikanth Kashyap and Nirmal Rao are hoping to make an interesting film and they are running in branding business for films. Veer Samarth is scoring music for the film. He has made a peppy song for UK actress Samira. Nagesh Acharya is the cameraman.
