Bird Flu: Lorries being monitored

HOSUR: The Animal Husbandry department has been sanitising vehicles by spraying disinfectants in an effort  to prevent spread of bird flu-infected materials in TN. The action comes in the wake of bird flu outbreak in West Bengal and Assam. The AH has set up a camp on the state border at Zoozuvadi check post to monitor vehicles round-the-clock. Lorries, particularly from West Bengal and Assam, were being completely scanned, the department officials said.
