Body washed ashore identified

RAMANATHAPURAM: A body that was washed ashore at South Bar near Mannar was identified as that of Leen (55) of Kanyakumari.
Sources said Leen had ventured out into the sea from Muttam shore for fishing in a country boat on July 20, but failed to return. Soon his family initiated a search, but could not trace him. So they lodged a police complaint on July 23. Arulanantham, State coordinator of Alliance for the Release of Innocent Fishermen said that steps were being taken to bring the body to Kanyakumari. ENS
