BANGALORE: Yuva Global (previously called Yuva Bengaluru) is all set to make this years Children’s day memorable as ever. On the occasion of Children’s day this year, the organisers will conduct a programme to discover the Yuva Prathibha which is targeted mainly at the underprivileged Government school children. The programme aims at emphasising the importance of Kannada medium which is more or less neglected these days according to the organisers.Yuva Global is a non profit organisation and its primary focus is on empowering the youth to address the social issues. Their projects include ‘Run your School’, a major rural development programmes which includes health camps along with the much celebrated Lead India 2020 program’s Karnataka chapter.The Lead India program was devised by Professor N B Sudarshan Acharya and is based on the guidelines of former President A P J Abdul Kalam.It is deemed to be the second National movement in India and involves wholesome training of the countries youth that ignites scientific temper, inculcates human values and inspires leadership with patriotism.The program will also include a speech competition for the children on the topic, Nakanda Karnataka at Sheshadripuram College from 9 am.
