The managements of private professional colleges will seek an assurance from the state government that it will desist from carrying out inspection of their infrastructure and faculty which they view as witch-hunt.
A delegation of the association of technical institutions which have given an undertaking accepting the minimal fee-structure proposed by the government will meet the chief minister and the deputy chief minister on Tuesday to present their demands.
“We are not scared of task force inspections but we do not want to be subjected to it as we were assured otherwise by the state government.
We will give them two days’ time to act upon it, failing which we will declare our plan of action,” said KVK Rao, chairman of Vidyasamsthala Welfare Samithi, a body representing engineering, pharmacy and MBA/MCA colleges.
Though the task force has asked the institutions to display the details of infrastructure on the college website, the association will not comply with the directions.
