Senior Congress leader and former minister C M Ibrahim has denied the media reports that he had tried to Convince former chief minister and disgruntled BJP leader B S Yeddyurappa to join the Congress party in the state.
Speaking to reporters after attending the office bearers meeting of the KPCC Backward Classes Wing here on Monday, the former minister said that the reports that appeared in a section of the media are baseless.
Stating that he maintains cordial relationship with all the political party leaders, including former prime minister H D Deve Gowda and Yeddyurappa, he said, “However it does not mean that all of them would join the Congress,” he added.
