SHIMOGA: BJP state general secretary and MLA CT Ravi alleged that the UPA government has not been taking steps to bring back the black money stashed in foreign banks.
He told reporters here on Friday that if the Centre is really committed to bringing back the black money, it should exhibit its honesty by framing legislation at the earliest.Extending the BJP's support to the anticorruption agitation launched by social activist Anna Hazare and yoga guru Baba Ramdev, Ravi said that during the Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had promised that steps would be taken to bring back the black money parked abroad within 100 days, if the UPA government was voted to power again.
