BANGALORE: In connection with the fourth private case filed against former CM B S Yeddyurappa, the Lokayukta Special Court recorded the sworn statement of complainant Sirajin Basha on Monday and adjourned hearing till October 20.The judge questioned Basha on the motive behind the case, when Basha stated, “Yeddyurappa had misused his office and powers, and had caused a huge loss to the government.As I was not able to register a case with Lokayukta, I obtained permission for prosecution from the Governor and filed the cases in the Lokayukta court.” In his fourth complaint, he has stated that 12 acres of government land in Ammannikere village and Srirampura village in Hebbal were denotified illegally, in addition to allotting ‘G’ category land sites in RMV II stage to B Y Raghavendra and Bharathi Shetty.
