Crime Branch aske to probe hospitality row

KOCHI: The Crime Branch has been asked to investigate into the alleged hospitality enjoyed by the police officials who had gone to Delhi to inquire about T G Nandakumar, a corporate lobbyist.ADGP Vinson M Paul has directed Crime Branch SP Mohammed Faisal to look into the reports in this regard.“I had called some of the officials who had gone to Delhi and asked about the issue. Now, we have to go to Delhi to get more details about the alleged hospitality arranged by Nandakumar for the officials,” Faisal said.Earlier, a team led by a DySP had visited Delhi for interrogating Nandakumar about a case in which he was involved.But another team led by another DySP had to be sent after activist Jomon Puthenpurackal complained  that proper investigation had not been conducted. He had alleged that the second team had enjoyed the hospitality of Nandakumar.
