Criminal stoned to death

ASKA  Kalyan Pradhan, a wanted criminal of Khojapalli under Khallikote police limits, was stoned to death on Sunday evening near his village.Sources said a group of 10 persons were waiting for him near Khojapalli and when he was about to cross the road stretch on a motorcycle, they attacked him with lathis. When Kalyan fell down, they stoned him to death.  The incident is being attributed to a cashewnut orchard taken on lease by Kalyan.Khallikote police rushed to the spot and seized the body. A case has been registered.Police said Kalyan was wanted in several criminal cases including two murders. He was jailed and out on bail 11 months back.
