New Delhi: Cuban Vice President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez Mario on Monday held talks with President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi during which bilateral, regional and international issues of mutual interest were discussed.

The visiting dignitary also met Vice President Hamid Ansari and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj. An agreement on exemption of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic passports was signed between the two countries on Monday.

The External Affairs Ministry said Mario held wide-ranging discussions with the leaders here on a range of issues of mutual interest and concern.
