New Delhi: Teenager Megan Dunn produced an upset win over world champion Tara Whitten of Canada to take gold in the women's points race on Wednesday for Australia, which continued its cycling domination at the Commonwealth Games.
Australia also won the women's team sprint with Kaarle McCulloch and Anna Meares finishing in 33.811 seconds, beating Scotland's Jenny Davis and Charline Joiner, who finished more than 2 seconds behind for a silver. The bronze went to Canada.
It was Meares's second gold medal in two days.
The 19-year-old Dunn, 19, a junior world champion, held out world championship silver medalist Lauren Ellis of New Zealand in a thrilling final sprint lap to the 25-kilometer points race. Whitten took the bronze with 36.
